Contact InformationTeam Captain: Ken Bramble (ikentri@comcast.net) A little about the Tri4Him Kansas City team...The Kansas City Team was formed in 2005. We started with a group of three athletes and continue to grow each year. We are very excited about the 2008 race season as we will be not only competing at local races but also volunteering by sponsoring an aid station at a few races. We expect to have a strong presence with the utilization of a specially designed Tri4Him tent. We are also in the process of designing Tri4Him - Kansas City Tshirts and have already gotten Tri4Him Kansas City stickers printed 2008 Schedule of Events
Weekly Group WorkoutsSaturday morning rides coming soon...with the warmer weather. Also, weekly swim/bike/run sessions at Shawnee Mission Park. Online Training Logs Many of the KC team members use the BeginnerTriathlete website to maintain our training logs online. It is a great free resource to record training efforts and it allows it's users to check up on others' training and leave messages for fellow athletes regarding their training. Check it out and email the KC team captain, Ken Bramble if you would like to get set up and also if you would like to get the screen names of the T4H team members. The TRI4HIM - KC Trophy In 2007, one of our members, Tucker Kelsey designed and built a T4H - KC trophy. We sat down at the season kick off cookout and determined the requirements for winning the trophy at each race. As long as there are 3 members competing in a race then the member to finish first in the race takes the trophy home and holds it until the next race. Teammate Peter Paulin finished first in the last race of the season and has been proudly displaying the trophy on his mantle over the winter months (much to his wife's chagrin)
