Tri4Him® Overview

Tri4Him®, Inc. is an exciting sports ministry that uses training and competition in triathlons (and other endurance events—marathons, half-marathons, century rides) as vehicles to 1) disciple participants, 2) create opportunities for personal evangelism and outreach, and, optionally, 3) raise funds for other Christian partner ministries. Launched in June 2003 and incorporated in March 2004, Tri4Him® is a USAT-sanctioned triathlon club and a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with members and teams across the US. Tri4Him® provides an organizational structure and methodology that motivates and equips individuals to seek a healthy physical and spiritual lifestyle where they grow in their faith and put it into action daily.

Tri4Him®’s innovative approach and organizational model employs four strategic elements:
  1. Integration — using triathlon training to help individuals improve both their physical and spiritual condition; using triathlon events for evangelism and fundraising for other ministries (more)

  2.
  3. Perpetuation — sustaining physical and spiritual health by promoting long-term lifestyle changes; developing disciples that evangelize and develop other disciples; organizing Tri4Him® Teams and Delta Teams, which participate in annual triathlon fundraising events (more)

  4.
  5. “Domestiquetion” — teaching Christians to follow Christ by leading lives that glorify Him and draw others to Him; developing a ministry that funds other Christian ministries (more)

  6.
  7. Duplication — simple, scalable Tri4Him® ministry model (more)
